Nice building and rooms with a stand-alone bathroom...

The hotel was reasonably spacious with a marvellous location really close to city & public transport, and a tram stop and the MCG. The breakfast offered a wide array of good meals. The experience was great, would come here again.

The breakfast here includes a great selection of toast, bread, pancakes, yogurt, and eggs.

I am sorry to say that I did not like it at all

room smelled of mould, no hot water in shower at 10pm, creaky floor, air conditioner did not work properly, room too stuffy. We could not stay the second night and moved to another motel which was much more comfortable with great appointments.

Cozy place with super friendly staff. Make sure to book a twin room with its own bathroom; they come with two single beds. the room also has a convenient microwave, plus coffee and tea gear - a nice touch! ☕

Excellent location for events at MCG/Rod Laver Arena

The room I got when I arrived was really nice – big and well-decorated, plus it had its own bathroom! 🛁

I liked the Fire Exit near my door as I could leave if the place went up. I liked sitting outside under the portico in the return driveway dreaming of a horse and trap that would have arrived in the 1800's. The garden and the houses on the other side of the street were refurbished and stunning. I liked the architecture of the building and hope it will be bought back to its former stunning beauty one day when not run down, furnished from someones home, all revolting sauce bottles that decorate the mantlepiece removed along with the Kmart lamps. I won't mention the table settings. I liked leaving.

Very convenient place and excellent environment/neighbourhood. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful in calling for taxi, giving advice on travel around the city etc. Also provided a bountiful breakfast box for us when we travelled early for a sightseeing tour. Nice house, cozy and very quiet. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Melbourne.

The staff here are exceptionally friendly and have a great attitude towards guests.

Back area needs a bit of attention eg. too many cobwebs. Room 10 needs new toilet seat emergency health risk. Mattress needs pillows under each side to make level otherwise every thing good would stay again.

Booked a king room with climate control and coffee/tea making facilities. Toast, fresh bread, pancakes, yogurt and eggs were really appreciated. All the staff was welcoming, settled my issues.

No negatives from this place!
